Daniel Reid Memorial Fund
A Silent Tear By Gaynor Llewellyn
Just close your eyes and you will see
All the memories that you have of me
Just sit and relax and you will find
I'm really still there inside your mind
Don’t cry for me now I'm gone
For I am in the land of song
There is no pain, there is no fear
So dry away that silent tear
Don’t think of me in the dark and cold
For here I am, no longer old
I'm in that place that’s filled with love
Known to you all, as "UP ABOVE"
Welcome to the safety on sea awareness website
This website is dedicated to the memory of Daniel Reid 19/02/1984-06/08/2009 that was sadly taken from us whilst enjoying a beautiful sunny day at the beach.

People on the beach that day thought he was fooling around but he was actually fighting for his life, please if your ever on a beach and you think someone is fooling around don't take chances because you could save their life. If you see anything Dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.

Mission Statement
We aim to raise as much money as possible for the RNLI and East Anglian Air Ambulance in order to provide the equipment they so desperately need. Whilst educating the public on safety at the UK’s beaches.

We believe everybody has a right to be safe at the beach and aware of the dangers that the sea can bring. Just one person saved would make all our efforts worth while.

Donations and Pledges
We would like to ask anybody touched by our story to donate what they can to help raise money for equipment. We would be pleased to take any pledges of services or items which can be raffled to raise money also.

Events
We will be organizing fetes and music events to raise money and are actively looking for Artists of all sorts to perform at these events.
